South Charlotte Partners, Inc. is excited to present an interstate Regional Transportation Summit on March 25, 2019 from 9am-2pm in Charlotte, NC at the Ballantyne Hotel. As transportation and infrastructure are two of the most pressing issues affecting the south Charlotte region in North Carolina and South Carolina, this summit will bring together federal, state and municipal stakeholders to discuss how best to address current and future transportation needs.
Addressing this issue requires a regional approach as much of the increased volume is a direct result of economic development along the state border. Therefore, confirmed speakers for the summit include the following: Governor Henry McMaster (R-SC), Congressman Ralph Norman (R-SC), Congresswoman Alma Adams (D-NC), NC Transportation Secretary Trogdon, Mayor Jack Edwards (Pineville), NC Board of Transportation Division 10 Member Sam Bowles, CRTPO Secretary Bob Cook, RFATS Director David Hooper, NC Turnpike Authority Director, CDOT Director Liz Babson and key business and economic development leaders from both states.
South Charlotte Partners is pleased to announce that Atrium Health is a partnering sponsor along with other businesses and organizations. General registration is now open for those interested in attending this important regional event.
